I've been using the online banking app for my Halifax reward account but it keeps telling me I have signed off & need to sign in again, which I try to do but this keeps happening & I can't get signed in, I deleted the app & re added it but it's just the same. I then tried on my phone using Google & safari to be continuously told safari/Google cannot connect to the server. I use online banking a lot & this is beginning to cause a lot of problems. I think I might switch back to Santander again as I never had an issue with their online banking.

Been going on since I joined 6 weeks ago, loads of annoying but insignificant issues, however others may see them as major dramas.
Rarely kicks me out but, loads of issues.
In your case that is a major pain, give them a call.
I'm away to download the mobile app, to see if I cant set up a standing order that online or on the phone they could not set up, if not it is snail mail for me, which given this day and age is idiotic sending such through the post with bank details on it (just like a Tesco Internet Saver signee slip to return), but not really a hastle.
SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe

Both the app and online banking working fine for me on Chrome

Halifax banking worked fine for me just now in Chrome and in IE. I log in once a day and not had any problems in several months if not years. Sounds the problem you experience are account-specific.

Would not be too sure, Lloyds customers are reporting issues too.

No issues for me on the app or in the browser.
Retired at age 56 after having "light bulb moment" due to reading MSE and its forums. Have been converted to the "budget to zero" concept and use YNAB for all monthly budgeting and long term goals.
