william d Interesting concept, but I knew going in that it would be difficult to come up with a credible reason why so many people would start killing themselves. In my opinion the film makers failed to meet the challenge. I was intrigued for most of the movie, but the last twenty minutes or so were a disappointment. The dark scenes were way too dark and it lacked definition. The effects were ample for the situation. The camera movement was horrible. It didn't really make sense to me. There were some good ideas going on but overall it lacked coherent plot. It was very non-creative use of camera and sound. There is one slightly supernatural scene that really stands out to me as it had no relation to the plot whatsoever. Some of the gore it grotesque. Apart from some interesting ideas near the end this felt like it was written by lots of different people who had been given the overall brief but not given other people's sections. Don't try to find sense in this. Can be trash entertainment if you watch for the suicides. It also tries to touch on the philosophy about the connection between body and awareness. However, the conclusion and answer to the mass sucidal events is not convincing and childish. In addition, music, one of the most significant part exaggerating the gore of the movie gets on my nerves when the weirdos play disturbing electrical guitar song. All in all, it is a low budget film so there must be some flaws but it is still worth watching for fans of this genre.
